I recently had the pleasure of  experiencing a work from the visionary, Pastor Mabel Elliot.

Perfectly staged at the iconic Faison Firehouse Theatre in Harlem, the audience felt as if we were part of an intimate, personal family conversation.

The play, “There is Power in the Storefront, Life After Covid” was a brilliant testament to the cohesion of our humanity. 

It is told through the intertwining stories of a diverse cast, with a spiritual core of faith. Each character reveals the ties that bind us together through trials, tribulations and ultimately redemption..

The stories were well paced and underscored by a dynamic drum beat,

that left the audience well served to meet the challenges, of what lies ahead.

The play is masterfully performed and engages on a visceral level.

I suspect most of us in the audience, are anxiously waiting for what comes next from Pastor Mabel Elliot!!

Oh, my Lord! There's Power In The Storefront plays are absolutely amazing! It will make you laugh, cry and dance in your seats as you experience a powerful message of love, hope, and deliverance. I haven’t missed a performance yet, and I can't wait to see what God blesses us through these series of plays next!
